Mishel and Thriftkitten, please check that your spam filter hasn't dropped a load of wem's into you deleted items folder. I've had more than 10 wem's in the last 4 days; there must be some reason why you haven't had any at all. I don't believe in luck to that extent!

You do get confirmation emails for your entries, don't you?

Wishing you the best of luck...

Hi yes I have checked everything, my email just displays junk and I have been through my deleted items and nothing, I have gotten confirmation of entries and they go straight into my inbox, not junk or deleted boxes, guess Im just not that lucky on this comp:rolleyes:

Hi, went in Asda and they declined my cards today, they had been activated, cashier and supervisor didn't know how to put them through till, then another supervisor came over and said we don't take those :(

Yesterday I took my £20 card to Asda in Barking and spent £18 using the self-service till, no problem at all.

Today I used the non-self-service till in the same Asda and asked to pay for £2 using the card and the rest cash. I told her the card didn't have a chip so needed to be swiped and signed, she swiped, I signed, no problems.

I would suggest letting www.magnumwinners.com know wherever there is a problem using the card and hopefully they'll have a word with the store's head office to let all their stores know to accept the card.

Good luck. If no joy, come to Barking. There is no other reason in the world why anyone would want to come to Barking (except to see meee!!!)

    Hi guys.

Very late catching on to this comp, and have been chomping my way through magnums since yesterday!!

    Nothing back from them yet...

I have a problem with 2 of the sticks, that I can't read the codes. I know from reading this thread that its quite common. I've tried every possible letter/number for the one digit I can't make out and no joy.

Tried ringing the number on the website (0800 731 1507) but just getting a 'this number has not been recognised' message. Am I calling the right line? Are they only there office hours?

Bit panicky coz I've now got loads of lollies in the freezer and so little time to enter!! Help please

Thanks for trying, I just cant believe how unlucky I have been, but it is a competition and there are no guarrantees, I entered 11 times on thursday, so who knows, maybe I'll still be in with a chance.

Thriftkitten, were all gonna have a party WHEN you DO win:j:j:j

With regards to the use of the cards in Asda/Tesco etc if you tell the cashier you wish to do a "split transaction" they will take the Magnum card first take off the balance then you can pay rest cash. Hope this helps, means you don't have odd small amounts left on the cards.

    regards Mary

Forgive me Martin Lewis for I have sinned......................................I bought 10 boxes of Magnums in Asda today.

And that isn't the worst part - the worst part is that they were hidden behind about 40 non-promo boxes so I loooked like a crazy woman ploughing through the freezers until I got the right ones :o

    :rotfl:

And, it is 100% YOUR FAULT orange_plastic! Yes, you - with your winning streak. Made me think it might just be worth another punt. Shame on me

But I didn't try to use my exisiting cards to pay so I can't report back on whether or not they worked. If anyone HAS used them at Asda, Fleetwood can you let me know? Cheers
