Oo I know the feeling, my mother looking after kids here tomorrow night, and if I hadnt done it now I could guarntee she would bring her marigolds and get stuck in. Might sound good to some, but not me, I can't cope with the tut tutting when I get back from the pub. (not that I will be in any state to listen to a word she utters)
My mum wouldn't get stuck in and help, she would just have a go at me for the mess and chaos and dust.
She forgets that she only had 2 children with 3 years between us and she was in her 20's and healthy. I am in my 40's with 3 children and 3 years between 1& 2 and 20 months between 2 & 3 and am not well and partially disabled.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Hi FYP,
yes it changed at Midnight, I was refreshing the page from 11.45pm and at 12.01am it suddenly but beautifully changed to Discharged.
Not long for you, hope that you have something planned to celebrate. I will have to send you early celebrations as the site will be down.
Tigerfeet,
I have a 7, 9, 11 and 13 yr old. Used to get really funny looks when I had one on front pack, one back pack one in buggy and one stood on back board! I would have said they get easier as they get older but now the eldest just hit the teenage years, I would say if only I could go back to when they were babies... ah the joy.
Problem with my mum is she is absolutely ruthless, she would bin everything. Trouble is my husband is nicknamed steptoe cos he cant bear to part with a thing, and I do try to keep it tidy, but just how tidy can you be with kids in the house!!! Didnt take long for the kids to make my tidy house look like a whirlwind had been through it when they got back from school today, looks like I will be doing it all again tomorrow.
I have a new motto, chaos is my friend.0 -
