The recent £9 rooms with Travelodge

We booked three weekends away when Travelodge released their £9 rooms recently, and have just received an email from Travelodge concerning our first weekend, which is the 22nd and 23rd May.
We had booked for the Travelodge in Gloucester, which I hadn't realised was just being built. The opening date has now been put back, and the hotel won't be open now until 2nd June (when we will be enjoying the second night of our next weekend away, in Eastbourne
)
They have offered us a refund (not really worth taking up, given that the rooms were only £9 a night, and we only wanted to to that general area, not specifically that town/city) or three alternative locations (Cirencester, Stonehouse or Cheltenham) with complimentary breakfasts on the first morning of our stay.
Thought I'd post in case anyone else needs to know that Gloucester is not opening on schedule.

Cheltenham is a lovely travelodge, but from what i remember you have to pay for parking.
Plus the park and ride is within a few mins walk which is cheaper than actually taking the car. Also a kfc on the same site which is open late.0
