AAT Training and DMP

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to start AAT training in a bid to gain extra salary and pay off my debts quicker! Only prob is to register with AAT it asks if you have any issues with creditors or bankrupcy. I've been on a DMP for 20 months with CCCS and I am wondering if this will cause them to reject my application!
I feel sick with worry!
Thanks for reading.

You can be a bankrupt/discharged and still get AAT membership. Student membership is the easiest as they are happy for you to pay! And once you gain AAT qualifications you do not actually have to be an AAT member (unless your position demands it)
I think that they actually take each case on its own merits, so if your BR or debt issues are due to fraud, or negligence then they are less likely to take you on than if the issues are due to circumstance.
As with all things, if in any doubt then call them to ask. And there is a policy about it on their website somewhere (cannot find it right now, but its there - I've read it and came to my own conclusions)0 -
I work in finance and I had no idea about this!!0
