Tesco Clubcard Voucher/points Tips Summary

Hi
I am not 100% sure where this should go. I am doing an Open University course paid for by Tesco Clubcard vouchers. So I went on an hunt for tips and advice to try to collect extra points to go towards next years course!
Anyway, here is a review of the tips and tricks I have found, and currently "listed" them on Ebay for free as a lot of people were selling them for £1! to poor unsuspecting people who did not realise you could get them for free. A flaming cheek I thought! Anyway, as a big user of this site I thought I would see if putting the summary of this on the site would help anyone. If anyone has further tips please feel free to add them on the end of the posts.
TESCO CLUBCARD
If you are a Tesco shopper and not taking advantage of these deals it could save you (or as points, earn you) £100s of pounds in Tesco Clubcard deals and discounts.
THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION.
For all of Tescos pro's and con's, they are not really so bad at all if you know how to use their promotions. This information is provided totally free of charge. However, if you find the information useful and use to save money, a payment of 50p would be appreciated. However, you do not need to and I am happy that people living on a budget can eek a little more out of it!
These deals require you to sign up to the Tesco Clubcard Loyalty Scheme – one of the best (most profitable) schemes delivering an equivalent to 4% discount on everything when using the Clubcard Deals.

DOUBLE POINTS!
I have seen a lot of this kind of claim advertised on EBAY. I have not purchased it myself, so I can not state for certain what their technique is. HOWEVER, TESCO offer this openly by using their Clubcard Credit Card:

Tesco Clubcard Credit Card
Make the most of your extra Clubcard Points...
Spend £4 at Tesco and we'll give you 5 Clubcard Points
Like all credit card, if you do not pay the bill immediately it will hit your pocket worse. But you can connect to your account online and pay immediately after going to the store. At the moment there is double the points available at petrol stations, so a full tank (approx) £40 would give you 130 Clubcard points, and with club card deals that is £5.20 returned (13% back) whilst the promotion is on.
FREE POINTS
Most free points are advertised are freely available from leaflets, or vouchers. However, these vouchers are generic and can be used by anyone. Use money saving websites such as:
tescovouchercodes.blogspot(dot)com
These sites are frequently updated with these codes WITHOUT the need to purchase.
The majority of these FREE POINTS are available only with Online purchases. Fine as long as your saving pay the cost of Delivery (usually about £4) which means you need £4 off or 100 extra points to make it work it (making £4 in Clubcard deals). However, if planned carefully you can make it worth your while. For example, I have just placed an order for £63 with deliver (£4), that is actually costing me £55 and is giving me 1300 points in all (£52 of Clubcard deals). So £59 of shopping is costing me £3!!!!
EXAMPLES:
TESCO GROCERIES: 500 Points (1st shop) when spending £50.00 Code: XXTM3N Expires: 30/09/09
TESCO DIREC: £5 off £20 at Tesco Direct Code is: TDX-NCCL Expiry: 11th November 2009
TESCO DIREC: £5 off £20 at Tesco Direct Code is: TDX-NCCL Expiry: 11th November 2009
TESCO WINE: 500 points when you spend £50 on wine. Code: XX42KN Expires 19/04/09
USE CLUBCARD DEALS
You get 4x the value of your Clubcard vouchers if used with conjunction with deals.
Plan how you spend these - you can use them for all sorts (I use mine for the Open University!) but use them for things that you would have bought anyway, or maybe a treat. You can buy Car breakdown, garage services, holidays, magazines, days out etc. So use them wisely.

RECYCLING
Recycle your phones and printer cartridges, and get a lot of extra points. You need to order the FREEPOST envelopes and send them off – note you are limited to 5 mobile phones and 30 Pinter Cartridges a year – which can be up to £180 of Clubcard Deals.

Join the Christmas Club!
If you join the Clubcard Christmas Club then you will receive all your vouchers in November (perfect timing for present buying, or paying for the all those dinners out in town with work and friends) and you get a free £5 voucher - although this is £5 is not Valid for the Clubcard deals. It also allows you to save for Christmas like a traditional Christmas club.

I can not guarantee any of these deals as obviously they are based around Tesco's but these are the tips and tricks I have seen recently. However, they all seem valid and useful and are used by myself
Earn Nectar Points at the same time!
When you buy from Ebay you can earn Nectar Points. So if you see the occasional Tesco Gift Card for sale – buy it! Then collect the Nectar Points and use the Gift Card in store or at a Petrol Station and collect Clubcards points! This is a great alternative if you have not using a Clubcard Credit Card to gain double points.

I know there are points codes floating about and some people have managed to use the 750 and 500 pointers together, and then the 50 points for the 50 point order. Thats my guess anyway.
Plus the £63 will be before the bofgofs i would have thought?0
