Yeah i was so shocked i forgot to select room rate and it took ages for it to accept that i agreed to t&c so i was expecting a sorry room sold out but i got it :D what date have you booked? ive got one in July

I was also expecting a few crashes! I'd been on the homepage since about 10.30... in the background of course!

The HMTL site didn't work, which is weird. Maybe they have decided not to use it in the sale?

I managed to get a £29 room on the normal site :):) :j.

I aggree did seem easier. No crashes this time, was weird. They were clearly prepared for it and taken measures against. Well done to all those who got one. I can't believe it sold out completly in 8mins!

Better luck next time to the rest - it really is who has the fastest fingers!

I didn't think the HTML site was working last time either?

That has to be the easiest Hoxton sale yet! Straight on, no problems, got the two nights I wanted at £1 and £29, and my girlfriend has managed to get the following 2 nights at £1 and £29 too!

Damn checky but i like your thinking.

I thought the hmtl worked a bit last time but not til a bit later on once most people had given up. Oh well never mind.

My first attempt at this and after careful planning managed to bag a £29 room! I used the strategy of painfully ignoring the £1 option incase they sold out too quickly so opted straight for the £29... and got it!

Finally registered after reading the boards for a few weeks, many thanks to the OP, managed to get a £1 room just before my birthday, so looking forward to some girly shopping time with my mum :)
