When my OH went Bankrupt two and a half years ago. THe OR allowed him to keep his motorbike as he needs it to get to work.
Recently, he has beeen thinking of swapping it for something more economical but it is showing on a HPI Check that Black Horse still have an interest in it??????
Is this right?
TIA

So did he actually have finance on the bike? has he kept up with the payments and is any balance owed cleared in full?
I think you would be best to call them to check why this is still showing if the finance has been repaid, it may just be an error on their part which they can sort out.
Black Horse can't retain an interest in it unless there is still money owed for the bike, they can't retain an interest just because of the bankruptcy and neither can they keep an interest in it because the OR instructed them to.
