Hiya
Have confused myself and can't work it out now lol!
I have 3 £7.50 clubcard vouchers totalling £22.50. If i change these for deal vouchers am i right in thinking they're worth £90??
RAC cover is £70 in clubcard vouchers. Is that my £22.50 vouchers or deal vouchers??
Also, the clubcard is in my name and DH is the driver, i don't drive. Will it work??
Thanks

The price shown is the price in clubcard vouchers, ie your £22.50 is not enough for the £70 in vouchers. For RAC cover they won't sent deal vouchers, but will send an RAC form marked as being prepaid.
I would look at some of the cheaper options in there - you say your DH is the driver and you are not, so why do you need family cover (up to 4 drivers in your household). Technically if you have one driver in your family you only need single cover.
I took out RAC cover via clubcard vouchers, and the form arrived ready to fill in the names of the people to be covered - it makes no difference if this is you or not.0 -
I agree with Tiggergirl, she's made some good points already.
Not sure at the mo why you'd want family cover at £70 which is the highest 'belt & braces' family cover at the highest price? Maybe we need some more info to advise you better, yorkshirecath - because if it's just the one driver being covered you can find much lower-priced cover?
FWIW my family hardly ever claim breakdown assistance but like to know we have some back-up, so we have opted for 'pay per claim' cover as advocated as the cheapest, by Martin:
'UK-only pay and claim service AutoAid is the overall winner (edit by Coupon-mad: for pay-per-claim cover). It's a little known subsidiary of large insurer Boncaster, which also runs the AutoNational breakdown recovery service. In fact nothing really comes close for price, except for those who have a stockpile of Tesco clubcard vouchers (more later). For thirty seven pounds a year...'
Here's the link to the full article, may be worth a read and using your cc vouchers for something else (or waiting for the next lot of vouchers next month so you may be able to pay for simple recovery, single cover with the RAC if that's the company you specifically want?):

Ok so if i went for the £41 one which is Roadside/Recovery and At home could i pay the excess in cash as i don't have enough vouchers?
Someone on another forum was saying i pay with deals vouchers but i guess this is wrong as i notice like some other deals it doesn't say x amount in deals vouchers which is a shame.Cath x
