Need a new veil

I got my veil in ivory a while back (only options were ivory or white) but my dress is in lighter ivory, and when the two are together you can see the difference in the shade (Well, I can anyway lol)
Having done a search for light ivory veil on ebay already, I can't find any - they are all either white or ivory and nowhere seems to have anything in between
I'm looking for a 2 teir ribbon edged elbow length veil, (pref. with diamontes, but I could do them myself) but don't have much left in the budget to spend on it
Any suggestions where else to look??

Trouble is there are so many different shades of white and ivory - I doubt that you will get an exact match.0

im not sure where you could find one other than ebay but i just wanted to say why not sell your 1st one on ebay so that then you dont have to dip into anymore of your budget for a new one!

Have you tried any local bridal shops? At least that way you can see the shade before buying. It will be difficult to see the exact colour when buying of the internet and you may end up with a veil that is the wrong shade again.0

Yeah - I'm going to flog the first one, don't expect to get much back on it tbh (only cost £18)
I had a look in a shop the other day (can't remember which one it was) and the prices started from around £50 - the one I loved was £75, there's no way I can spend that on a piece of tulle lol.
I might need to email a few companies and get net samples first. I knew there was a few people on here who ordered Landy's dresses in a light ivory - I as hoping to find out where they got their veils lol

Post on the Landy thread, you might get a better response from the girls there.

I got one from Millybridal. Not sure if I'm going to wear it though as only got it as it was free because they were mucking around with my dress.
This was a really light ivory. I can tell the difference as my sister had lent me her old one and it is definitely quite a bit darker."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
my mums making my own veil as i couldnt find one i liked just take a sample of material from the dress (shes doing my alterations as well but ask the person doing the alterations if there taking anything off) or from memory guess the colour round every fabric shop near you means you get exactly what you want and im having diamanties too i got the wee comb thing from hobbycraft

Try the eBay shop The Crystal Veil. I bought my veil there (in fact I got two as I changed my mind about what I wanted, not very money saving!). The prices are good and I was happy with the quality of the veils. The comb that comes with it is quite think but its attached by velcro so you could can change it or have the veil pinned to your hair.
My dress is ivory but pale as it has organza over the ivory fabric. I found that an ivory veil still went with my dress. They also do a paler vale between ivory and white called diamond white colour to go with paler dresses.
You could always e-mail them to see if you could pay a small sum to have a swatch of the colour you think you need.0
