CSA have refunded all my payments!

ok im stumped as to why!! Can someone shed any light?

This is the situation

I am the NRP, I live with my husband and my 3 children. My son lives with his dad.
I have been on Mat pay since July 08 and have been paying CSA payments at £5 per week straight from my mat pay since sept 08.

I received a letter this morning saying that i was having all my CSA payments refunded. so i rang and all they could tell me is that they had a letter from CSA asking them to stop all payments and refunded any payments already made.

Rang CSA and they have no idea why, and im now awaiting a call back from them

anyone have any idea why this might??

CSA just rang back, they still have no idea why!! I have a new payment schedule which i received on sat of £5 per week by standing order.
still not sure wether i should spend the money or keep it somewhere in case they ask for it back again

Good grief - keep it somewhere safe.

I wouldn't trust the CSA to reverse this decision at sometime in the future.

We discussed closing the claim and i would pay direct. But i know he hasnt closed the case yet as his little girl died last sunday (22nd/3) Also the CSA have set up a new standing order for the payments. Ill have to ask him if he has, just to be on the safe side.
He hasnt received a penny that ive paid since sept, i know that, as he wasnt even aware i was paying anything
Luckily me and ex are on good terms :0)

sassy girl if you and your x are on friendly terms i would get the csa case closed asap and then pay him direct, the hassle of the csa just isnt worth it

Sorry to hear about your x's daughter
