Let Go and not paid

I did post earlier re being let go with 1 wk notice pay in lieu, turns out she doesn't have the funds to pay me so I am totally stuffed... Just need advice sympathy (most of the bills gone out thank god for DH)
Just totally lost, managed to pay DMP and most of the other bills there are a couple left. I am devastated, she (ex boss) has said she's trying to get some clients to pay up so she can pay me) but I just feel hopeless.

You should be able to get statutory redundancy payment off the government if your employer can't afford to pay it.
