Hi everyone I was just wondering how everyone has attached their inserts to their card blanks?
I am just having normal A6 cards and the blanks are to be folded and to slot inside.

Hi, I made my cards in the same way as you and tried pritstick first but this looked a bit rubbish as the insert went a bit wrinkly. I then tried double sided sticky tape and it was brilliant and really neat."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

A thin sliver of double-sided tape always works well and it is what crafters use when making their cards.0

I sewed mine, but we wanted to go for a mini book effect, you can almost make out the spines here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chatiryworld/3224754693/in/set-72157604025434061/Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

I used some Twilley's Goldfingering yarn to 'tie' them on - left a long thread and attached some charms to the ends!0

I have gone for double sided tape, just got some from Tesco so will have a play tonight and post pics. I had card which opened outwards from the centre on the front, like opening some french doors lol. I folded the paper inserts inside and then punched holes in each side and threaded fine ribbon from ebay through. I then tied a bow on the front with the ribbon i.e. tied it shut, to decorate. I hope this makes sense, it was really easy to do and the insert was held in by the hole/ribbon through the hole iyswim.Total for 2009: L'Oreal Lip Duo, Diary, Motability Guide
Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:0 -
I'm sure you can get very narrow double sided tape - just half a centimetre wide or something? I'm sure that - or perhaps mini glue dots would be good.0

I just used the normal stuff and it worked really well. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos or have any spare to show you. Will have to nick my mum's off her and take some pics at some point."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

I am a part time wedding stationery designer (working from home) and i either use thread or double sided tape. The only thing i always advise is that sometimes it better to only put tape on the back of the page facing when you open it - putting on both can sometimes effect how the card opens...0
