We had a brilliant freecycle message in our group yesterday -
"I have on offer today, my two loud teenagers. One male, one female. One careful owner, just can't cope with them any more and time to pass them on to a new home.
They come complete with fully functional and working vocal chords, morning 'grunts', stomping ability and a complete set of tea/coffee making skills.
Will require regular feeding.
Not compatible with small children, faint hearted adults, small fluffy animals or mornings.
Collection ASAP... PLEASE!!!!!!!!"
Brilliant i thoughtLOL

I haven't frozen any food in tins but have frozen meals which contain things out of tins eg Beans, sweetcorn, chickpeas, tomatoes etc
Soooo if you have some spare plastic containers, just tip them out and freeze like that. I would use the frozen versions first as they won't keep as long as the tins. Why not have a batch cooking day using some of your tins to make stuff for the freezer - you could even chuck in some fresh stuff! Have fun.
