£500 loan, 6/12 months

Hi,
Had a completely unexpected bill this month, and it's meant I haven't been able to put away for the holiday I'm meant to pay off next month.
With just my rent, holiday, and paying back an overpayment of wages I had, will leave me with £-8 for next month.
I'm looking to borrow £500 over a relatively short period (6 months), but I'm not sure where to look. I work full time in a reasonably well paying job and I don't have a particularly bad credit rating, but there's very little of it, and I'm not on the electoral register at my current house.
My bank seems like the best option, as they know my salary goes in every month, but according to their website they only lend to over 21s (I'm 19), and I haven't had luck trying to get an overdraft with them in the past (it's A+L, and my older sister seems to have the same problem).
I'm willing to settle for quite a high APR, as it's over a short period.
Could anyone advise on my best option? Possibly a long shot, especially in the current climate!

I'm afraid there's not many options.

You could try your local credit union, if there is one. You could also try https://www.lenderscompared.org.uk which will give you details of doorstep loan companies in your area. They will be high APR, but might be your only option if you don't have a credit union, and can't get a credit card or overdraft.
