Now that Boots have sold out (Again!) of ipod minis, an alternative could be the Creative Zen Micro.  They've got Silver and Dark-Blue in stock, list price £169.99, but with HBST25 you can get 10% off and triple points!
Same size as an ipod, holds more songs, has better battery life and has a built in FM radio!
