Topcashback question

Hi,
I'm sorry to ask this question but can anyone explain a step by step process of going through a cashback site to get cashback?
I know this has probably been answered a dozen times but i desperately need to know, I have searched and searched but can't find an answer to my question. I have this broadband from tiscali and would like to do it through topcashback. I know that your suppost to empty your cookies but when do i do it?

I`ll add my 2p worth.
Used them to sign up for Virgin Mobile and the £30 showed the next and should be paid in about 12 weeks.
Used them to join the AA breakdown and nothing is showing after a month.
Have now entered a claim for this.
Don`t know why the AA is dragging on this one,has anyone else had a problem with the AA showing?
