Hey All
I am looking into getting both mine and hubbys credit rating, i know experian do a free 30 day trial , but we did that not so long ago, will they let us sign up again and then cancel within 30 days ??
Also if there is a charge on the house will that affect my credit rating to even though the house is only in hubbys name and not mine?

No, once you have had the free trial then you can't sign up again and cancel, you have to pay upfront. I know 'cos I tried to do the same thing
Also if you are financially linked to your husband then his bad credit rating will affect you, yes.

I would suggest that you keep separate accounts as you may be able to improve your rating even if OH's is affected by the charging order. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

We will keep finances apart, i was just wondering because i obviously live there and wanted to know if that will affect my credit rating if there is a charge on the house - i dont think there is but thought i'd check
hmmm have to find another place i can get credit reports for free, who else does them except from experian0 -
You dont get the score for free ever though.
Even if you could sign up again for the 30 day free trial, thats just a free trial of the report part (which is usually £6.99 a month) to get your actual score you have to pay an extra £5.95 each time you get one.Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)
