Hi,
Been on a DMP for 3 months now, going smoothly.
Unfortunately we've had some car trouble that will cost £500+ to fix.
We have no savings, and no family to borrow off.
I do tho have 1 credit card that has zero balance on that isnt included in my DMP. Its a Tesco card, which is part of RBS, but i do have a MINT card which is on my DMP which is part of RBS, will they find out?
Could i use this then pay back at payday when i am expecting the extra money in overtime?
So basically can i borrow £500 off a card for 4 weeks then pay back in full or would there be consequences?
Thanks in advance

if you do this then you are breaking the terms of your agreement with the Dmp provider and they can terminate your agreement. This has happened to people on here.
So first thing, I hope DMp is with a debt charity or Payplan?
Secondly ring them up and talk to them.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Its with CCCS.
I assumed it would be against the rules.0 -
Do ring them and ask if they can help you in any way. Do not just use the CC as they will dump you if they find out.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

When I had car problems I rang CCCs and they arranged for me to make a one off reduced payment for the DMP to cover car repairs and to contact creditors to let them know. They were really nice about it all and though it was a huge worry to me, they sorted it all out as if it happened to people fairly regularly

I think you should ring CCCS, rather than risk the terms of your DMP by using any credit.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
