  • Can I ask who do you do mystery shops through? I'm registered with Gapbuster and retail eyes but never get any assignments? I'd love to earn that sort of money : )
  • I would like to join in too please , I am fairly new to the forum and mystery shopping so will aim for £50 to start off with please.

    OMG!!!!

flippin' heck - i don't think i have made that much since i started in october!

i have just signed up to bare. seems to be plenty of jobs on there in my area - not sure if i am brave enough for a car dealership run though yet even though that would beat my target in one day!

out of interest what costs were involved in achieving such fees ?
I know the costs of nearly £700

what level of profits margin is it ? surely your travel must be nationwide to get close to that which will seriously eat in to the fees, then of course im sure you have tax that legally must come out of that

and in essence - was it worth the effort of all the jobs and reports for the profit ?

    thanks in advance

on a good day I can earn around £200 and spend maybe £50 in petrol, food well that comes free as I always make sure I have a pub lunch or fast food outlet to evaluate, I used to get most of my petrol free again by doing evaluations, the effort, well lets just say some people like to watch TV I love to shop so what better then gettting paid to shop.
Today I drove from yorkshire to Cardiff then to Bristol Airport then backup the M5 to do a couple more evaluations finally to to Worksop total mileage not much less then 500 cost of fuel £50 total earned $85.00 and £105.00 plus a pub lunch total profit if I was to use the 40p a mile rule then nothing, but what I earn pays my bills and around 4 months in Russia, so I can not complain.

    1. How long were you "at work" then, sounds like a helluva long day...

    2. How long do you then spend filling out the reports?
    3. How much printing of paperwork do you do?

    4. Do you take into account the wear and tear on the car?

    5. So you did not go back to Yorkshire but stopped in Worksop?

    6 No parking costs?

    7. How do you always get a pub lunch free?

A little more detail on this fanciful earnings would be good.
