I am desperate to buy it! ... Matchbox car wash

My son was given a matchbox carwash toy when he was 2 for christmas, originally bought from Woolies although only ever seen it in there for one year, it was played with non stop until he was 5 when one of his friends decided to break it. Since then I have been in desperate need to replace this, I am not bothered if it is second hand or new, as long as it works.
The carwash is the same as this one.
Can anyone help point me in a direction where postage isn't going to cost £35
Thankyou in advance.

Have now spoken to Mattel UK and they say the carwash was released in 2002 and discontinued in 2003. They have said my only option is to get one from USA or buy second hand.
Does anyone have any ideas of one in the UK second hand? or am I wasting my time trying to find one and try and find something else which is good enough to replace it with?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
This is a long shot but it worked for us
we were after a helicopter,but a kid
proof one there was a particulat one
made by Tomy but had been discontinued
four years earlier. I went on the
Toys R Us site and rang some of their
stores asking them first how long had
they been open all the ones who had
been open more than four years I asked
if they had one of these helicopters in
stock.we struck lucky with the one in
Warrington who had two left, boxes were a
bit battered ,as they had been in the shop
so long might be worth a try.:j:j:j0 -
My son has got one of these, but it's in bits, and I have no idea if all the bits are there. We have got 3 large boxes of Matchbox/Hotwheels stuff that they keep out in our shed to play with in the summer. If I come across it, I'll let you know (currently in the process of moving, so no idea where it is exactly) and you can have it.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Thankyou for the replies.
Rosekitten I don't think it would work as I had only ever saw them in one branch of woolworths and from what I could make out from mattel they were not too many in shops if that makes sense and I can't go back to woolies now they have gone
Sarymclary - Thankyou very much. I hope your house move goes well
