how long does a creditor have to respond?

how important is it to send a request for signature via certified mail..
can I fax it, or is that just not a smart idea?

also... I just got off the phone with a creditor who fought with me and would not give me the shipping address to the company.

told me there were too many shipping addresses and when I said I have a document that needs to be sent he just gave me a fax number..

ugh.,

Why don't you ask someone on a US site instead of a UK one which has different laws !
But you'll already know that seeing as this is nothing more another fictitious post, just as your so called letter is in the other thread you started ! Dial J E R K !!!!

    Who is your creditor?

The address at Companies House will be sufficient. But others actually get a good response by writing to the address nominated for the Data Protection Act.

Edit - Just read excel's reply. If you are in US, you will get no meaningful help here.

But I won't delete the reply as it may be helpful for others.

    ficticious??
Im trying to clean up my stuff for over 3 years... man.. thats a !!!!! thing to say.

as for the other post... thank you, and I see the validness of finding a US site
and i've been searching.. can't say I found too much of anything to really help my situation... if I did... trust me I would be there.

I mailed out 5 letters by way of certified mail, I know 3 of them got to where they need to be. one of which sent my letter back stamped address does not exist... which is this one in question.

    the company is LUNV

I have had nothing but drama with this group since they started took over the dept.
