problem with kays mail order

i would appreciate some help. the problem is i opened a catalogue from kays which i paid fully till i was put on short time working. so i contacted them which they agreed i could pay reduced payments. which i did so my finances got worse. so i contacted them again and asked if i could reduce even further. they agreed so they sent me out the documents which i returned. i was told not to pay till i recieved the relevent info to start paying the next thing i knew that they hadnt recieved payment so i contacted them they told me they hadnt recieved the paperwork. well to cut a long story short. i have paid token payments but what they are doing is every £30.00 i am paying they are taking £12.00 off as a default notice so basically i am getting a default notice every month. i have been contacted by kays then by ndr both with different amounts. so now its back to ndr. so basically i am getting a default every month. kays basically refused to accept reduced payments and told me that action would be taken against me. so what can i do?

Is this default regsitered on your credit record every month? Or is it a letter about the default?
