Has anyone heard or even visited this website
I saw an ad for them in the paper last week. They claim to get rid of your loan and get you compensation if your lender didn't comply with the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Here's a quote from the site:
If the content of the Credit Card Agreement or Loan Agreement that you signed, did not comply with Government Legislation in the form of certain parts of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, then your Credit Agreement could be Legally Unenforceable.
I have a Halifax loan with around £6k on it which would be very nice if it disappeared. I phone the number on the site today and was told this service costs around £70 and takes anything up to 6 weeks to through.
Anyone tried or heard of this?

1. Do it yourself for £1
2. You are only challenging the enforcability of the debt, they will not wipe it out
3. As has been said before, why are people trying to dodge their responsibilities? You took out a loan, you should pay it back!Cashback Sites

Wouldn't it just? Get real - you borrowed it, you pay it back like the rest of us have to.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Odd how you joined almost 6 years ago and yet only posted this month all about loans.0

I noticed this too. Could it possibly be a spam advertisement, posed as a question, to get round the site's rules? Perish the thought!I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Hey you guys are so helpful cheers. Yes I'm taking out a £12k loan but £6k of that is to pay off the existing one. Apparently that's the best way to extend your loan.
If the bank have screwed up then I am entitled to get compensation, no? I thought this forum was on Money Saving Expert, not Useless Trolling Forumites.

And how did they screw up? By lending you money when you wanted them?
Don't you think that if this actually worked, this country would be debt free???0 -

If people take out a loan then its only fair to for them to pay it back. If you loose your job, sickness then I have some sympathy. However, there is always insurance one can take for eventualities.
For record any money I borrow I take out policy of death and loosing job/income and I love to have not paid that0
