Try and do the balance transfer of n the egg card, if you can get a lower rate. Might work.

And try to get a really clear idea of what you are spending each month (like presents and holiday) as this will enable you to revise yur SOA.

YOu both need to keep spending diaries and tot up at the end of each day.

And it would be an idea to go back through the last 3 months statement s to see where the money really goes.

Youmncan only ask the mortgage provider. They may play ball or not but unless you ask you do not know.

sky is our only option our id seriously have no life then, the ariel at our apartments dosent work and the managment company cant afford to fix it at the mo as major work needs doing first. the charge is for tv line rental calls and broadband though so i dont think its that excessive.

Then ask them what's the £85 for?

we have asked them before but they are quite strict and just refer us to the original contract.

yes we do only spend £100 a month or we have done for the past 3 months infact its usually under this month i only spent 71, i started to do a big shop on payday because we used to spend around 60 a week just buying bits and bobs which usually got thrown away

its not as easy as that, the management company is run by the residents ie me and the other owners i live in a listed building which has some costly repairs as everyone has sky already we agreed the ariel was not a priority.

Thanks blueye - I thought that as this was a repair - its usually down to the management company to provide the services and up-keep of all services - but if that's you and the other residents there isn't much point. :)
