Ok I don't know what sort of pubs you drink in, however, none I know will have a box full of sweets on the bar for long and they certainly wont make the target price for what is used.

You will need to replenish and collect money and I would imagine very often.

Again how many pubs will want the responsibility of having the box?

You need to realise a lot of your stock will get stolen, and I dont think finding placements will be as easy as you think.

I would strongly suggest you pass on this as I refuse to believe it is worth a good living

I do think the first thing anyone I asked to place a box would ask is "what's in it for me?". Hard to say, well nothing actually! I have sat and thought to myself how many places I could target in my immediate area and I am struggling. Maybe it would be different if they could supply you with a good amount of "sure things" to get you up and running.

BTW, pubs would not be my ideal choice as a target, never really had a pint and a jelly bean at the same time:D
  • You also need to consider 15% charity contribution is nothing and a lot of places will say no as a point of principle.

Making a miniscule donation to charity and trying to use it to manipulate sales is quite immoral to me and many others.

I would also question why its tiny charities who do it and not the big ones.

Do yourself a favour and bin the brochure.

Agreed. Unfortunately, not everyone is honest, and some will take the sweets without paying.

A vending machine would be safer, but investment in those would no doubt be huge
