You bought a product for a price. Just like buying a TV. You agreed to the price, and you paid it. What's to claim back?Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0

You cant claim back mortgage admin fees. They are a valid and acceptable fee. The only mortgage charge that allows seem claim back potentially is the mortgage redemption charge and even then its only the increase, if there was one. (i.e. contract said £100 but you were charged £150, then you can claim back the £50).
There are a lot of dodgy claims companies out there. Mostly the ones the phone you up on cold calls. They will often tell you there is a claim when there isnt just to get money out of you up front.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I'm in the process of reclaiming the delivery fee Tesco charged us last week for delivering our grocery shopping.0
