Leather sofa from Debenhams?

Hi
First post, so I hope it's in the right place.
I'm thinking of buying two leather sofas from Debenhams and wondered if anybody could say anything about their value for money or quality.
I know that there are just a couple of posts on the forum from people who had problems with them; but would experience of any of the big out-of-town furniture retailers be any better? (From what I can tell half of them are following SCS and LoL into bankruptcy, so I can't say my expectations of customer service are particularly high anywhere.)
I'd seen other sofas I like very much from g-plan, but can't really afford to pay £3000 for the pair -- at current sale prices, I could get the sofas from Debenhams £1500 total.
Probably the most important thing to me is that the sofas be comfortable and supportive, so I can't buy sight unseen and I end up ruling about threequarters of them out once I sit on them. Then the second most important thing is what it looks like
Any thoughts or advice?
