Just had phone interview

Spoke to a really lovely lady - call only lasted about 15 mins. Was told I would need to write to OR regarding car as it is not me who needs it for work but my husband (had a feeling that would be a problem). Went through my largest single debt - Egg loan - and why it didnt cover all debts. Told me I could be inline for early discharge - by xmas fingers crossed - and generally shouldnt hear from them again! (unless car being taken). Oh and forgot to add no IPA either.
So relieved its almost over - really feel like Im getting my life back again.

Congratulations raradel! Well done, sounds like you had a good OR then, hopefully early discharge for you! Well done. I hope that you get to keep the car too.

Congratulations raradel.... that was a quick interview, mine took 15 mins to explain the legalities!
I had a similar experience with my interview. Early discharge was explained to me and it was implied that I may well receive it.
I supoose it was because my debts were fairly straightforward and there is very little to share out - just my Income Tax and that will probably pay the OR fees.
I was also told that it was unlikely that I would hear from them again.

Hi Shiku, as I said on your other thread - early discharge can happen once the OR has finished investigating your case, and also depends on how busy their office is. So, a very simple case would be more likely to be put up for ED than a case involving a house, a business, etc.

This may help with your questions regarding ED:
