Thank you penyffordd, as I work next to the Welsh assembly building which was opened by the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, my St Davids Day was rather hectic. Two police checks to get into my office car park, followed at lunch time by a 12 gun saloot, a fly past by 4 aircraft and lots of little children in welsh costume waving flags at the Queen. HMS Westmister was moored next to the office and there were TV cameras everywhere so all in all a very busy day.

Have you seen the new assembly building ? it is amazing - very spectacular.
