my girlfriend has just got divorced she has to give her ex 35% of the house and solicitors fees about £10000 she dosnt have to pay him back untill either we get married,her 9 year old reaches 18,or if she wanted to move house we have looked into mortgages (her house is mortgage free) and at the moment been offered 2year fixed rate at 3.5% do you think it would be wise to get a mortgage now or do you think houses are going to come down much more so we dont have to give her ex as much
