Where can I buy a cheap smoke alarm which has a little light, to place in a hall way please?

Why not contact your local Fire Brigade.
I had some fitted for free (although did give a bottle of Scotch as Thank You)

I got both of mine fitted free by the local fire brigade, they`re guanteed 10yrs and was told just ring up then and they`ll come and replace them.Not sure but i think all local fire brigades do this sort of thing.
Also gave good advice about getting out if we had a fire, specially were double glazed upstairs windows are concerned.

my parents got there smoke alarms for free we are in the Greater Manchester area, but if the fire station are not able to help you try Wilkinson's they always have things like that in store and are always reasonably priced.0
