Everything DH saves for is for the family really. He saves to fix the house up (ie. the conservatory we are getting, the new kitchen, FAMILY holidays (I pay for my 'girlie' weekends) ) etc.
DH bailed me out twice before with my debt-first time was £5k. I then wracked up £10k. He paid that off....then...I managed to wrack it up AGAIN so this time, I said I would pay it off. Never learned lesson the first 2 times. I have asked if he would consider paying my debt off with a F&F and he is thinking about it but tbh, Im not hopeful. Hi Gemm, its a song by Clarence Carter and his son called Patches who is burdened with looking after the family at 13 when his dad dies. Pepe put the lyrics up earlier.
