Afternoon
Bit of a panic this morning, I suddenly thought 'I'm sure my car tax should be due around now, how odd that I haven't had a reminder'. So I went outside to check, and it ran out a month ago!
I rang DVLA and they told me they'd never received my registration document that told them I was the new owner (I know I sent it, because my Mum and Dad nagged me into doing it straight after I bought the car). So I'm not the registered owner, and I didn't get sent a reminder.
I just had to drive into Leeds (I have a major phobia of driving in Leeds city centre) to go to the DVLA office to tax it. £200 later, I am all sorted. _pale_
Now trying to decide if I can get my hair cut before my date on Friday....I can't really afford it, and I've no idea when I can fit it in, so I might have to just work the crazy wild big hair look. I'm trying to convince myself it doesn't look THAT bad!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I'm not surprised, I've been driven round it a few times and feared I would never escape :eek:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

It's a refund from 02/03, you had to put in a claim before the end of January if you thought you were entitled to it
Couldn't have come at a better time what with moving next week :j"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I should do really. The thing that worries me is that how my hair looks MASSIVELY influences how confident I feel about myself. If I have a bad hair day, I feel unbearably ugly and painfully shy, so I'm scared to venture away from the hairdresser that I trust. Weird I know. :rolleyes:scaredy_cat wrote: »Snaggles, can you check if your local college has a beauty salon where it trains young people? I got my hair washed, cut and blow dried for £3.50 at mine.
But fitting it in is the main problem this week - I'm off tomorrow and Friday but don't know anyone that could have Natasha, then working Wed/Thur.
I'll just dye the roots and straighten it, and pretend I'm just trying to be a bit foxy with my 'slightly too long for a 34 year old' hair! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
