There's a free downloadable eBook called 'The Beginner's Guide to Horseracing in Britain' available from EclipseMagazine.co.uk
It's got a beginner's betting guide in it :T , tells you all about what's going on and means that when you watch the Grand National next week you'll have the low down on what they are all doing.
Loads of stuff in there if you have been invited to a Ladies Day/Corporate 'Do' this year as well - what to wear etc.
Hope this is useful!:rotfl:

I was going to answer the poll but my answer is not there. It would be Yes - but only the National. I go every year to Ladies Day (we save up all year and get a hospitality package out of our own money) and it's a great day out! Very rarely place a bet though, not much of a gambler. Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation? :cool:0
