is there any point?

As he has now finished his 6 months half pay sick pay, I think my ex has either returned to work, or working on the side (his mate owns his own business). Is there any point in me telling the csa this, as i cant prove anything. He has never replied to any form of contact from the csa, so i guess he will not be forthcoming with new employment details.

it is so frustating! He did go on to a deo with his old employer, but as he was on sick leave at the time, with only 2 month left of full pay, he didnt pay anything!! We have two DD's together - one by joint choice, one by his choice. Why should he think he can get away with not paying anything:mad:

sorry for rant!

You can ask for their circumstances to be looked at again, and don't need to provide any evidence of a change - simply you think their circumstances have changed.

If it comes back as a nil assessment you have the right of appeal.

Just remember, assessments are only done if someone asks for it. You really have nothing to lose.

You can also ask for the Criminal Complianc Team to look into the case, though you will not be able to get any answers to that if they do. You will then have to get your MP to look into it for you!

    Best of luck

thanks guys. I rang them, and said that i thought it highly probable he was now working. They are going to write to him to ask him to clarify (he wont contact them though!) and then contact the Inland Revenue. They are also going to contact his old employer, to see if he has returned there, or if they have had to do a reference or something.

They said to ring back in 4 weeks - as a change in circs can take 8 weeks??

Would you recommend that Blob? Once your case goes to CC then get the MP involved? One part of my case (don't ask!!) is with CC and I have been asked to contact them after Easter for an update - would you suggest/recommend that I get my MP instead of me?
Am assuming that they will not be able to tell me jack anyway....I know why the case is at CC but am not sure if I will get told of the full outcome.

    Many thanks

Hi been bussy! You are correct that you will not be told "jack" as a result of teh CCT investigation. The only person that may be able to get anything from them is your MP, and that is from the CEO's office. You oersonally have more chance of knitting fog than getting any information on the outcome of the investigation.

However it is a deffinat shot across the preverbal bows, to the other side, and yes I would recomende this course of action if there is no other way to bring the situation back under control. The down side is that the situation between you and your ex will become irretrievable that is the rub, if you have no probs with this then go for it. If thte situation is open to talks then you have to go that rout as it has to be better for all, especially the kids.

    Hope this helps.

There is no 'situation' with me and my ex. We have had no contact since the 2 hours he saw my daughter for when she was 12 weeks old:rolleyes:

I would love nothing more than to have him in her life but he clearly chooses not do both by his silence and his persistant dodging of his financial duties. I feel no hatred towards the man (how can I - he gave me half of the most precious thing in my life :)), only deep deep sadness that he has chosen this route.

So really, absolutely nothing to lose and if it gets me answers and more importantly some kind of contribution towards my small person (yup, just a contribution...not for him to bankroll my entire life!) then it seems the way forward.

    Many thanks for your answer.

Oooh I was just talking about you on here the other night as a male PWC was looking for advice.....however the very dapper (and bare chested...well in my head anyway!!), Mr GG came to the rescue.

Typical I thought...you can never rely on a man!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sadly (and rather embarrasingly) I am still trying to get money from my ex *sigh*.....any day now I keep telling myself!!:o

Flying visit or planning on joining us again?
