advice with price

Hello,

Hope your all having a splendid sunday afternoon.

I wonder, could you help me with a price of something? I have looked on ebay but can't really find this item (similar) but not the same.

I have a lovely gift box of a Radley Keychain and a Travel Card Holder. I want to sell it as its not my thing but not sure how much to start the bidding at? Maybe it wont sell who knows. There are varying prices of similar items so all confused.

Thanks

You could set a reserve and start the bidding as low as you like.

Just decide what is the minimum amount you would sell it for and set the reserve at that. If it doesn't reach the reserve it doesn't sell.

The minimum reserve is £50, so best just to start at lowest price you will accept.

There are a number of completed listings for Radley key chains, key rings and travel card holders and the price varies. I assume collectors prefer certain colours or styles?

A single key chain alone can go from anything from £6 to £14, so add in a ticket holder and you must be looking at £20 minimum. Why not start it as say £19.99 and see how it goes? Alternatively if you are desperate for more start it higher, say £29.99 and if it does not sell this time use the relist credit to start it lower next time.

This set here went for £22

This one though went for £34

That's correct, 99p and less free to private sellers. Not much of a saving though if item goes for less than you want to accept.

Ebay is flooded with items at the moment, so you could risk listing at 99p and keeping your fingers crossed that it hits the high figures, but what if the best match system that ebay have implemented means the item gets overlooked and sells for say only a tenner?

If I remember correctly that went on a BIN, so it might be worth starting at that sort of price on a full auction to see if it would run a bit higher.
