Just ordered ours and cant wait!!

This is our 4th year and despite people moaning about pushchairs and young children ill be taking BOTH of mine...Luke (2) loves it and im sure Libby (8 months) will too...yes, last year i was heavily pregnant and still went and had a good time!!

Its a great day out and i dont see why some people think they are more entitled to tickets than us!

Just because we have young children doesnt mean we dont enjoy a good day of racing!

We go, find somewhere to sit and enjoy the day..we have no interest in the fair or food but so what if we did??

We arent likely to be able to afford to all go to the F1 anytime soon but the world series makes motorsport accessible to everyone which i for one think is great!!

If you dont like people going who arent going to buy a new car or are going to take children DONT go!

Anyone thats going for a good day and not to judge who should and shouldnt be there have a great day...we do!!

    Dont forget.....

If you order tickets and cant use them please offer them to someone else...alot of people order 4 when they only need 2 and then dont go at all...let someone else have a good day out instead!!

If you cant get any dont be temped to buy them on ebay either...they always pop up on here in the days running upto the event, if you buy them it just makes people get them to sell on next year too.

    Have fun

    hi all,
just received an email from the Renault World Series team offering free tickets to watch the event at silverstone on the 4th & 5th of july.

this is a great event and even better that its free, so get your tickets today cause i remember last year there was a crazy rush for them.

maybe see you guys there :j:beer::j

EDIT: sorry, just had a look and it seems there are a lot of otehr posts for this event. must be that good.

    regards

Everyone is getting tickets because they are free - just to go and drink and mess about. Motor racing tracks are not suitable places for young kids running around and especially pushchairs!!!

It means that every year there are "REAL" Motorsport fans who apply for a couple of tickets and are not able to get them.

Even if Renault charged £10.00 per ticket to their annual charity then you'd soon filter out people who just go because its free!!!

I've expressed this opinion to Renault in their Post Event Questionnaire.
I have to dissagree that everyone is just getting tickets because they're free. Being on jobseekers allowance and being a motor sport enthusiast (and of course renault driver) dont go hand in hand so free tickets are like gold to me. Its not only a chance to see the sport live, but it also doubles as a really cheap weekend away which wouldn't otherwise be possible!

Ok, its not a great place for kids, but if you have to take them, you have to take them!

Ordered my tickets as soon as they were available and they arrived today, Thanks OP.

Went to F1 at Silverstone last year with DD who is an F1 fanatic, she was mesmerised watching everything, practice, qualifying, the GP2 and most of all seeing Lewis (she's a fan) win the race.

Our circumstances are so different this year that there is no chance of taking her to the F1 but she will just love this.

Thanks again, hope everyone who gets tickets enjoys it as much as we expect to.
