LOL @ nats! I've just done a quote and I could get my insurance down to that amount if I had a 1litre car so that's always an option.

I've been ebaying today actually Ruby! Spooky! I've got 10 items listed so far but now that my little girl is asleep, I'm off to raid the wardrobe for more things.
  • hi, have you tried Adrian Flux insurance? I had a modified car at your age (I'm only 27 now before you start :p) and although the excess was high they brought the insurance right down.

Hi....yep I was with them one year but now gone with GSi insurance as they were cheaper this year. I try to shop around but as you probably found out too, there is a limited amount of companies that will even quote.

Just paid off our electricity bill of £156.27. So glad it's not like the last one when it was over £700! (That reminds me, must sort that out too as when we bought our house, the developer had given the wrong reading to the electricity company...we are about £200 out of pocket really after comparing with the neighbours.)

Anyway....paid that off using money transferred from bank account onto Tesco CC for the points ;)

We plan on using the deals for our holidays as we don't budget for any. This year we took advantage of the Travelodge £9 rooms so will just have a weekend away.

I've listed more things on ebay and entered more competitions. Need to do my scratchies and then I think I'm done for the day :T

Yeah I had a lot of trouble at one point getting insurance and as I was quite young then the cost went through the roof, I don't suppose it helped that my mods were never ending!

Well I have sat and listed another 7 items on ebay with the hope of there being another 7 listed on there by this evening. Keep entering some competitions between the listings though to give myself a break and now off to do a snowball of our debts as it helped us before we bought our house.

well done for doing the listings, all i seem to be doing at the moment is spending money, need to flick the switch back to the saving money side of me.

There are times though when all you seem to be doing is spending but just have to keep remembering that that isn't every day :)
