Do you believe in Man Made Global Warming?
They plan to introduce Carbon Rationing Credits Soon.
For Example, Everyone gets 10 credits a year, if you want to fly to Spain it will cost you 30 credits, you will have to wait 3 years to be able to fly to Spain.

As an investor, you know that any kind of investment opportunity has its risks, and investing in Stocks or Precious Metals is highly speculative. All of the content I post is for informational purposes only.

A system like that has a certain superficial appeal, but would be politically and socially impossible to introduce. For example, the worst thing you do for your personal carbon footprint is to have a child...how many children would we be "allowed" under this system? Who does the culling if we exceed our limit?
However...as it is simplistic, unscientific and impractical, expect an announcement from Gordon Brown any time soon...4.7kWp (12 * Hyundai S395VG) facing more or less S + 3.6kW Growatt inverter + 6.5kWh Growatt battery. SE London/Kent. Fitted 03/22 £1,025/kW + battery £24950 -
A link would be useful.0

Thanks ken, had a look around to see if there was anything new on it - seems its on the backburner at the moment.0

Business trade carbons, so personal trading possible, tho the admin will cost somebody.
Laugh out Loud but can imagine the old and sick being forced to sell their carbon credits (we know where you live)0 -
The idea the poor might be forced to sell and then buy back at a more expensive rate would be a risk - what happens if you have no allowance left and can only afford the £5 for the card? Fine if your poor and a low user but not always the case. Also some people depending on their circumstances / job have higher emissions. If it applies to public transport it surely applies to cars used for business. Not good for those in a trade.0

I don't think it is a question of belief. You won't find many people, apart from a few crazies, that will not accept that human activity has had and continues to have an impact on the environment and processes within.Do you believe in Man Made Global Warming?
They! Them! The Men in Black! They plan to introduce Carbon Rationing Credits Soon.
What an example! If it wasn't completely over-exaggerated and made condescendingly simple, in fact i'm not even sure now where I was going with that sentence. For Example, Everyone gets 10 credits a year, if you want to fly to Spain it will cost you 30 credits, you will have to wait 3 years to be able to fly to Spain.
For example, everyone gets 10 credits a year. Breathing costs one credit per day [as you exhale CO^2] therefore in 10 days time you be have to commit auto asphyxiation for the greater good.
Oh yeah great example!Wins: Fillipo Berio Spray Oil0 -

True. But there are plenty who believe that human activity isn't the main driver behind global warming - Profs David Bellamy and Philip Stott being just two. The real crazies are the ones who think that we can turn back global warming by adapting our behaviour without addressing overpopulation.4.7kWp (12 * Hyundai S395VG) facing more or less S + 3.6kW Growatt inverter + 6.5kWh Growatt battery. How much impact is the question? .01% or 10% or 100%
So having defined the problem as you see it, what's the solution?
I know - go on the dole, squat in other people's property, put up tents in Bishopsgate and convince each other in drug fuelled sessions that you are saving the world.
India and China are really impressed!0
