Loan enforceability cases and credit ratings

I am in the process of challenging the enforceability of three loans. Two are being challenged by a solicitor on my behalf, the other I am doing myself. I am not receiving anymore chasing phonecalls or letters from the two being challenged by a solicitor but am getting letters from the third creditor I am challenging myself. Anyway, all three creditors are recording the payments I have not made since Janurary on my credit file, and obviously, my credit ratiing is now shot (and also affecting my wife's rating). I was under the impression that as an account was in 'dispute' the creditor had no right to record the missed payments on my credit file? How easy is it to get the credit file changed and these missed payment records removed?

P.S. I am well aware of some people's views on this forum on the morality of challenging loan agreements so there's no need to post your opinions here, thank you.

Is this solicitor a consumer specialist lawyer, or a solicitor in any high street who relies on passing trade?

I've come across many judges who are not up to date with consumer law, let alone solicitor's.

Its a specialist from Eastleys in Paignton, Devon. They do a lot of CCA challenging.

I think the best thing you can do is to get a note put on your credit file against this debt to state that the account is in dispute. This way if someone does a credit search on your file it will at least require manual intervention rather than an automated system that just states that you have a poor credit score.

Have you sent the 12+2 day letter to inform them that the debt is in dispute and that you do not authorise them to process your details?
