Buying wholesale and reselling

Hiya,
recently I've become interested in finding a good general wholesaler from where I can buy items and them resell them... preferably on ebay.
I've been doing some research and looking around different websites. I've found a few which look really interesting but I'm wondering if these sites can be trusted.
Does anybody already do this by any chance, and if so would you be able to give me some hints and tips?
Thanks so much.

The only tip I can give you is that this is one of the most asked questions on the ebay board. The usual answer is that the net prices on ebay are lower than most wholesale prices to start with, so unless you have found a mega cheap supply and have worked out your profits after all ebay and paypal fees and Income Tax and NI, I would leave well alone.
You are best sourcing your own stock, via an existing hobby or interest where you can approach people direct. If you have found wholesale dealers online or in the small ads then all your competitors can as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The only cheap prices you will get is if you buy in large bulk to compete and i am talking tens of thousands of pounds worth.0
