what are the next steps

had our paperwork from payplan filled all this in and will post Monday.

:confused: so is this right we are going on a DMP first payment to come out in May do i CCA the creditors or do i send the letter saying we can only offer a token payment this month but are setting up a DMP. could someone give me the link to the letters please


when do i CCA them ???.

we have a loan with NR unsecured do i CCA that as well ?????

    Have Payplan sent you some sample letters to send to your creditors, where you are advising them of the proposed DMP and enclosing a token payment for this month?

    Re the CCA letters, if you mean what I think you mean, you only send a CCA letter if your creditors sell the debt on to a 3rd party who then contact you for payment. The CCA letter is your way of saying " you say I owe you this money? Then prove it!"
    I have dealings with CCCS, not Payplan, so any other Payplan customers out there should be able to advise you more fully.

    Not really - there's a 'prove-it' letter for that purpose.

    For every regulated credit agreement (credit cards, catalogues, doorstep lenders, unsecured loans and some secured loans too) the debtor has a legal right at any time to request a 'true copy' of their credit agreement.

    It won't work for overdrafts and other debts where credit was not involved.
