Moral issues in trying to reduce debt

thank you :money::beer:I am not (absolutely one hundred per cent not) judging and I know that desperation leads one to do things that one wouldn't normally do. Of course people have to do what they have to do to survive, but it is not those occasions I am asking about. Let the thread drop.0 -
I remember reading in a paper once (and therefore it must have been true!) that a ten-year-old had been caught nicking pencils from a shop and his dad said that he was mystified as to why his son had done this as if he had just asked he would have got him some from work!
I am afraid it's how some people survive. Right or wrong isn't an issue because when people survive (except obviously when it's down to pure theft and they steal when they have enough already) that the perceptions often break down. I often see people begging but they've also been seen going home in expensive cars edge of town by some, too. Which, conversely, tars the rest then. They make a business out of it. That the perceptions of what is and what isn't break down. Some do to survive, others don't. And where the moral high ground begins to crumble at times. Regarding the media and newspapers. Nothing they like better than taking something, changing it and sensationalising it. Even if it destroys the life of someone very innocent, who has nothing but has been driven to desperation and has their whole world torn down from that moment onwards. I will always champion the disadvantaged, however much at times it seems I am doing the opposite. But I never do anything without a reason, or a purpose. But I do appreciate where you are coming from with your thread however it will inevitably be an emotive subject. Which can whip up sentiment or anti sentiment.
As to keeping an eye on things people took from their workplace. Money was one of them. Either from the company books or directly from the pay packets of the employees.
Anyway, whilst I have been posting I saw you'd said to let it drop.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.
