Hello again,
We asked Co-op for a CCA on 20/03/09. We received this this morning.

The first link is the letter, the next two images appear to be an application form for the card and it does bear my details. The remaining pages are copied from a different document with the T&Cs and do not refer to me but they do refer to repayment, credit limit and interest rate. All the documents are photocopied and stapled together but clearly the "application form" document and the T&C document are different documents.
So, is this valid?
Many thanks

No, I got all that wrong. Sorry. Re the pre application aspect and the four corners thing. Probably.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Can you blow up this image?thenightporter wrote: »Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

An application form is not a credit agreement.
To be an enforcable agreement, it would need to have:
1. Your name and address
2. The credit limit or how it would be agreed
3. The APR and interest rate
4. The repayment details
If all of these are not on the form you signed, then this CCA is not enforcable and you should send the 12+2 day letter if the time limit has passed. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Thx, the reason I asked for it to be blown up, I wanted to check the "Account Charge Tariff.
It states on that one you've linked £15.00 for unpaid DD, the new charges only came in during 2006, therfore I doubt the T&Cs they've sent respond to your account.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Thanks to everyone,
10Past6 that is very interesting - I was wondering how to check if the T&Cs were applicable to the time of the application and I didn't know what to look for.
So I am inclined to view this as most likely invalid and wait for the 12+2 deadline and send the 12+2 letter. Would you agree?0 -
Yes, however, if you wanted to, you could issue an SAR, this will confirm any charges applied since opening the account, and if so, whether the amount charged is the same amount as those within the T&Cs they've sent.thenightporter wrote: »Would you agree?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
