The washing up liquid reminded me I stopped buying value diluting juice. You end up using far more because it's far less concentrated and therefore just doesn't last as long. I reverted to the stores own brands that compete with brand namesMy Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

I second all the value meat comments.
Not food, but I bought some cheap J-cloths that were simply half the size of a regular cloth
And cheap tissues that disintergrate when you blow your nose - yuk!
Value squash where you need to use more concentrate for the same taste as own brand squash. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Now I love the Tesco value lemon squash as I don't like squash that tastes very strong

I never buy the very cheap white bread. I usually buy wholemeal/granary anyway, but like white sometime for toast. I find it goes soggy as soon as I put butter.0

i often buy value bread, but it is for the duck's. as after shopping i promise my littel girl if she is good we will go to the duck pond on way home, and i always forget to bring the stale bread from home. so maybe a bit of a false economy , but the smiles from my daugther makes up for it.
i love the value washing up liquid , as it the only one that doens't make my hands sting. one bottle last nearly 2 weeks. it fab. and i wash up about 4 times a day it seems.
i agree with the mince. years ago we used value mince, and by the time u drained the fat away there was nothing left. and the mince had a dry bitter taste. not nice at all.0
