Bancruptcy Does Anyone Meet Up

Just having a good old read throught the forums and thought id ask if any of you know each other in person....

The first thing i thought of when we considered BR is ... do we know anyone who can help us out with info, whos been through it etc etc...

I so far know about 4 people who have gone BR, 3 of those live on my street lol (doomed street) lol

So i just wondered if you get together or does it stay on screen only???

Just being nosey really lol takes my mind of the finances....

I would be interested in a meet if one happens. Anywhere south of Nottingham/Stoke/Derby is preferable.

I only know one ex BR - a guy at work.

I don't know anyone else br, other than my best friends parents who went br 25years ago. Her Mum sent me the most beautiful letter of support last year that I will always hold dear.

I am in Devon so don't think that close to you lensman, my geography is shocking!!! perhaps we need a picture of a map putting up so I can see where your all from, hint hint Phil!

We have had two BR and supporters club meets so far, so some of us have met up, but the trouble with organising a social event on a BR board is everyone is skint:rotfl:

Yeah there is that small finance problem....we cant even stretch to tap water at the moment....lol

Maybe bat would like to organise one up north. I am pretty spoilt being in the midlnds i can get to more or less any,,even as far as newcastle;) .

Double ditto:D ........need to pin lily down on a free wkend. Trouble is her job is so hit and miss,she does not get much warning of hen she is actually free.I will get on to her to try to give us a date:rolleyes:

London Oh my Lord that is my years excess gone then. Will have to keep in touch via cyber space then, although it would be lovely to have a face to face and cup of tea with someone who is in the same boat who you could turn to when everyone else is getting you down.
