Hi everyone please help if you can,
I have got myself into a right mess and owe 3 payday loans totalling £1,000. I have not got enough money to pay Payplan this month (£228). I usually pay on the 1st of the month and this would have been my 5th month of the plan. I just do not know what to do. I am up to my neck in these loans with interest accrueing. I have not failed on my Payplan arrangement so far but will do this month. What will happen, what can I do? If people are wondering how I am in a mess again I am afraid it is the reason I had to get a DMP int he first place. My problems with gamblign have escalated again and I owe lots of money. I am seeking help with this issue at the moment but my finances are in dire straights so much so that I cannot afford my monthly payment to my DMP. Please please help with some advice to help me get out of this mess if you can. I am 26 years old and have my rent and bills to pay too.
Thank you,
Jonathan.

You MUST call Payplan and explain, if you don't they'll have no idea what's happening, ask them can you make token payments of £1.00 this month.
Have you included payday lonas within your DMP?
You MUST pay your priority debts FIRST, before any other unsecured debts, you cannot be evicted for not paying PAyday loans, you can be evicted for not paying your rent.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Are these loans you have taken on SINCE your DMP has started? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Two of them I am afraid to admit I have taken since my DMP. My gambling addiction is killing me and it is that which I need to get sorted asap. Are you suggesting I add these payday loans to my DMP? I will make sure my rent is paid definitely.

Can I add these new loans to my DMP. I take it not? Plus perhaps I finally need to his this rock bottom to sort myself out? But I just dont know what to do. Its a vicious cirle and I do not know how on earth I can get out of it. I owe £925 on payday loans at the end of April (keep rolling them over and more interest accrues) and then have my rent, payplan to pay. I do not know what I can do or where to turn. Any advice much appreciated.

One of the conditions when you enter a DMP is you do not take out any further credit, the best option is to speak with Payplan about your current situation. Can I add these new loans to my DMP
As regards your gambling, if you send a PM to GeorgeUK he will direct you to the gambler's thread.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Hi again
As 10past6 says, part of the basis of the DMP is that you agree to take on no further debt. In doing so, it can fail your DMP ( after all your previous creditors are being "generous" enough" for you to pay them back in the way you can, they dont want to see other new creditors in the picture taking potentially the small amount of money due back to them. As others say you MUST speak to your DMP organiser (CCCS?) and seek advice. Im not going to preempt what you are saying itsof no use.
Do you have any freinds or family who can gift you the money for this month? It might help keep your DMP on track? Of course you cannot AND SHOULD NOT borrow to find the cash for your DMP payment.
It seems you have avery serious problem with gambling, after all its destabilised your DMP and this is really a big deal as I can see you know
Have you got any help with this?
Who knows about your gambling problems? Do you have anyone you can confide in? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Mcajshaw - you know what to do. First, come clean with Payplan and see if you can renegotiate your DMP. It might not be possible, but you have to at least let them know the score. Secondly, sort the gambling issue. You know that is not helping your situation and needs to be faced up to and dealt with. There are organisations that can help. Finally, if you have any close family, let them in on your problems - they can't support you in your efforts if they don't know. Good luck. One life - your life - live it!0

Well done for being so honest, it must be hard. I don't have anything practical to say, just wanted to add my moral support. :ADeclutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
