Loan disappeared from my Credit file!!!

Hi guys, I have a loan of £2000 from the internet company Cahoot which has been in arrears now for many, many months - in fact they've defaulted me & used to send me regular letters & call all the time! However, lately all this has stopped, I havent heard from them at all & when I checked my Experian credit file recently, I noticed that this loan wasnt there anymore! I emailed Experian & asked them why the loan wasnt showing up & they said that all the accounts attached to my addresses in the list should be on the file unless Cahoot have chosen not to display this account on this particular credit file - wierd!

Any ideas? I know this isnt going to happen but wouldnt it be awesome if they've just decided to write it off ha ha!!!

Cheers guys

James

Perhaps they have sold it onto a debt company. It may well be registered under a DCA on your file in place of it in a couple of weeks.
Hope your theory is right though as that would be better for you!
