Seasons Holidays???

Please forgive me if I am in the wrong bit. New to this and not sure I have found my way around. Just got a recorded delivery letter from Seasons Holidays saying I have won a prize value £3750. When it stated that I had to ring an 0800 number instead of a private company number I smelt a rat! Is this some sort of scam? I am wondering if it is trying to sell me some sort of time share???. Worried now I wont be able to find my way back to read any replies.

Well only momentarily because it just didnt look right. Having never won anything like this, I dont know, but I assume you would get a letter and maybe a brochure and maybe a company or marketing agency phone number and not a leaflet to claim a free photo album from bonusprint and not a, you must ring within seven days blah blah. I think I have become cynical in my old age. They really are b........ The number of people who must get these and believe that they have really won. I am a pensioner myself and havent had a holiday for eight years. Luckily I do still have a couple of brain cells still working. Thanks for your help.

yeah some people probably will believe them and part with money. To me a prize isnt a prize if you have to pay to get it (unless its something like accommodation but travel not included etc)

Maybe one day I will be on here bragging about a Real prize I have won. Fingers crossed!!! thanks again for taking the trouble to reply.
