Housing allowance on CS1???

Just a quick question.

Was looking through DP File, and noticed that Case Worker has written that NRP housing allownce reduced to 50% as they 'assume' NRPP can contribute to costs?????

I was led to believe that unless PWC applies for a Departure with regard to NRPP being able to contribute to housing costs, then the NRP will be allocated 100% housing allowance?

Am I right, or have I misunderstood?

Thanks any advice greatly appreciated

That is correct - they cannot assume contribution towards the housing costs without a departure application. They can restrict housing costs to 50% of NRP net income if there are no children in the NRP household though.

So the restriction should not happen - are you definately sure that the PWC has not put in an application?
